兰花属于单子叶植物，花是由3个萼片，3个花辨，分为两个圈的6个花药和3个雌蕊组成的。兰花是我国古老名花之一，每当春季花开之时，幽香清远。我国约产150余属1000余种，多分布于温暖潮湿的华南、东南和西南地区。按其生活习性大致榀分为地生兰、附生兰、离生兰3大类。张家界的兰花以地生兰为主，生长于林间。张家界金鞭溪游道两边有多种兰花植物。

The orchid belongs to the monocotyledon, formed with 3 sepals, 3 flower petals, 6 anthers (dividing into 2 circles) and 3 gynoecia. it is one of the ancient famous flowers in our country. When open in spring, a faint fragrance can be smelled far away. There are about 150 genera, and 1000 specie, distributing among the south, southeast and southwest regions where are damp and warm. Based on their nature, there can be divided into 3 major types, ground-living orchid, attached-living orchid and parted-living orchid. There are mainly ground-living orchid in Zhangjiajie, growing among the wood. Various orchids stand on both sides of Golden Whip Stream.
