同心锁紧靠着老磨湾广场，同心锁的基座为3个同心圆，从同心路看去，左侧有边长0.4m图腾形立柱4根，右侧两根。背后依次是竹林、乔木林、砂岩峰林。张家界民间流传着土家夫妻与同心锁的动人故事，传说相爱的人只要一起合上同心锁，就能心心相印，永不分离。同心锁高9.9m，宽4.2m，厚2.5m，重约20吨，规模宏大，造型别致，与夫妻岩、望朗峰、千里相会等爱情传说相印。同心锁为水泥质地，下方有“中华第一同心锁”字样，锁体中部向同心路一侧为空心，游人可登临其上留影，锁体背面为龙凤呈祥图案和喜字。

Lock of One Heart lies tightly along the Laomo Bay Square. It is based on three circles of one center. There a 4 totem pillars(each with 0.4m length) in the left and 2 in the right side, with the bamboogroves, arbor forest and sand stone peaks in the back. There is a folk tale of a Minority Tujia couple and the lock of one heart in Zhangjiajie, which is said that as long as the lovers unite the lock of one heart, they will stay together, love forever and never depart. With 9.9m height, 4.2m wide, 2.5m thickness and 20 ton weight, the lock is great and unique in style, and echoes with the love stories of the Couple’s Rock, Waiting for Lover, Long-distance Meet etc. The lock is made of cement; at the bottom are some words“the First Lock of One Heart in China”, and it’s hollow facing the Road of One Heart at the centre of the lock. One the back of the lock, there are Chinese letter“喜”(congratulation) and the design of dragon and phoenix showing good luck.
