从母子峰东徒工200余米，溪南侧一峰拔地而起，高约350M，似锥柱孤标挺立，直冲云霄，雄伟异常。岩峰三面如刀切，壁面线条笔直，棱角分明。立峰东北60多米处的溪畔仰视，峰色一日数变：拂晓，峰在烟云缭绕下，呈暗褐色；午时阳光直射，金辉熠熠；傍晚夕阳涂抹，峰面火红；晴夜月朗，峰体银光闪烁；若遇烟雨迷蒙，峰则隐约飘忽，如天穹砥柱。此景点已成为金鞭溪景区的标志性景点。

Go eastward for over 200m from mother-and-Son Pesk, there is a mountain popping up from the level ground 350m on the south of the stream, towering like a lonely erecting pillar, forming a graceful and magnificent scene. The three sides of the rocky peak, with all the way straight and clear-cut outlines, are seemingly cut by sharp knife. Standing 60m mortheast to the stream bank, you can observe the peak's change of colors several times a day, before dawn, the peak is dark brown under the mist; at noon, when the sun beats down on the peak, it glitters like gold; at dusk, with the setting sun leaning on the peak, it is shining fiery red. Under the shining moon at clear nights, the peak would be in silver flashing. And when the peak is overwhelmed in the misty fog during rainy day, it will be like a mainstay column to the heaven. This attraction has become a symbol of physiognomy in the Golden Whip Stream Scenic Area.
